Saudi BAUER Foundation Contractors Ltd., a company of the BAUER Group, was commissioned with the first foundation engineering project for the newly planned city of NEOM in Saudi Arabia. Large bored piles about 70m deep are to be created for the mega construction project called the THE LINE. This first order is part of a three-year framework agreement within which further projects for the BAUER Group are expected.
Upon completion, THE LINE will be 170km long, accommodate 9 million people and cover its needs entirely with renewable energies. THE LINE will become part of the megacity NEOM, which is to be newly built near the Red Sea in northwestern Saudi Arabia.
