Based in Schorfheide near Berlin, BSS Heavy Machinery has become a new Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe dealer, offering the complete HCEE product portfolio for the states of Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and parts of the states of Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt.
Brothers Dirk and Ralf Schönbohm founded the company in 2007, and today have some 30 employees at their home office in Schorfheide and branch offices in the cities of Dresden und Magdeburg. Six sales staff and an expert team of service technicians ensure close contact with their customers, focusing in particular on underground construction and landscaping contractors as well as demolition firms and industrial clients.

A comprehensive portfolio
Mehmet Ay, dealership sales head at Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe, is delighted to note that expanding the product range to include Hyundai’s crawler, wheeled, and compact excavators as well as wheel loaders and articulated dump trucks (ADT) now enables BSS Heavy Machinery to offer high-quality customised solutions from the Hyundai portfolio to customers from every segment of the construction and recycling sectors as well as to industry.
With the backing of the powerful Hyundai portfolio, the brothers are now planning to expand even further, including opening a leasing station in Berlin and branch offices in the cities of Rostock und Cottbus. They also plan to establish presence in Schwerin with a branch office there in 2024.
