Pictured here (from left to right) are Camilo Isaza, Sales manager, Isidro Corcoles, Area Sales Manager Lintec & Linnhoff Germany, and Francisco Isaza, founding President.
  • Headquartered in Bogotá, FIZA will handle the nationwide sales and distribution of Lintec continuous and batch asphalt-mixing plants.
  • FIZA has served the Colombian market since 1985 and enjoys a strong presence in the road infrastructure sector.

Lintec & Linnhoff has appointed FIZA as the exclusive dealer for Lintec asphalt plants in Colombia as of May 1st, 2023. As one of Colombia’s leading heavy machinery distributors, FIZA has served the road infrastructure, mining and agribusiness sectors throughout the country for nearly 40 years, supplying a range of high-quality machinery for road maintenance, compaction, earthmoving, screening, crushing and recycling, as well as concrete-mixing trucks and asphalt pavers.

The new partnership will be vital in helping Lintec & Linnhoff establish a firm foothold in Colombia’s buoyant construction market, where growth is forecast to hit 8.3% this year before recording a CAGR of 6.9% through 2027. Major investments in infrastructure have been announced with US$955.7 million allotted for the construction of new highways between Sabana de Torres and Curumani and Puerto Salgar and Barrancabermeja. There are also road improvement projects planned between Buenaventura and Buga, and Sabtuario and Cano Alegre.

The impressive innovations seen on Lintec asphalt plants will be key to ensuring rapid market penetration for the brand, believes FIZA President & Founder, Francisco Izasa: “Colombia’s road construction sector has always looked up for cutting-edge solutions to boost efficiency. So, we are sure the Lintec asphalt range will be well received,” he said. “Features such as the CSD line’s simultaneous screening and drying technology deliver major energy savings for contractors. What’s more their modular construction means these batch plants can provide transport savings of up to 65% when compared with traditional plants.”

Familiarity breeds contentment

Like Lintec & Linnhoff, FIZA places a firm emphasis on training, providing compulsory hands-on instruction during a plant’s installation and commissioning. The dealer recognises the important role that maximum familiarity with the product plays in enhancing productivity, safety and low cost of ownership.

“Providing training is a benefit to dealers and manufacturers, not just our customers,” said Isidro Garcia Corcoles, Lintec & Linnhoff Area Sales Manager for Latin America, Spain and Portugal. “We believe in working closely with our customers and dealers throughout a plant’s lifetime, not just when we hand the plant over. So we are delighted to partner with a company like FIZA, which shares our commitment to achieving maximum customer satisfaction.”

In addition to training, customers get market-leading support from FIZA through a range of comprehensive service agreements and an easy-to-order supply of plant components, wear parts, among others and service support.

“We already view Lintec & Linnhoff as a 360° partner able to provide us and our customers with the best service and response. We are fully committed to writing a very successful story together!” concluded Francisco Isaza.
