Noatum Logistics Invests in 152 Mercedes Benz Trucks

Noatum Logistics, part of AD Ports Group, announced a major expansion of its transport fleet in the Middle East. The company is purchasing 152 state-of-the-art Mercedes Benz Actros long-haul trucks as part of its strategy to enhance regional freight forwarding capabilities.

This significant fleet expansion will increase Noatum Logistics’ transport capacity by 6,000 tonnes, growing its vehicle count from approximately 450 to more than 600 units. The new trucks are designed to handle a wide range of cargo types, including containerised, refrigerated (reefer), and loose freight, and will support vital sectors such as energy, polymers, food & FMCG, automotive, pharmaceutical & healthcare, and defence.

Beyond boosting operational capacity, this acquisition supports Noatum Logistics’ broader environmental sustainability objectives. The Mercedes Benz Actros vehicles are equipped with Euro 5 diesel engines, delivering improved fuel efficiency while reducing Nitrogen Oxide and particulate emissions. This aligns with the company’s long-term commitment to achieving Carbon Neutral status by 2050.

The delivery of the new fleet is scheduled for completion by the end of the second quarter of 2025.
