Ammann ACM 210 Prime Exceeding Expectation

Ammann ACM 210 Prime Exceeding Expectation

The Ammann ACM 210 Prime Asphalt-Mixing Plant was launched in 2019 to complement the established line of highly mobile, continuous Prime plants. Since that launch, the ACM 210 Prime has proven its efficiency, performance and productivity – and increasingly, the longevity of wear components.

Kapa Pavimentação, a São Paulo business that specializes in paving, has operated its new ACM 210 Prime since 2020. The company now owns three ACM Prime plants as well as an Ammann AFW 350 Asphalt Paver and Ammann AP 240, AV 110 and ASC 110 compactors.

The ACM 210 Prime has exceeded the company’s expectations, said Eng. Ariel Luzetti, Contracts Coordinator at Kapa. “We have a high and qualified demand, mainly from toll road concessions, and our plant has been producing averages of more than 10,000 tons per month,” he said.

The production has been as high as 17,000 tons to 18,000 tons during some months. “Our record was 1,733 tons in one day – and always with exceptional mixing quality,” Luzetti said. “The equipment is not only meeting our expectations but exceeding them.”

The plant has produced more than 215,000 tons since starting production, and the durability of components has been exceptional. “The mixer pads are the originals,” Luzetti said. “They are still in very good condition and will last much longer.”

The success of the ACM 210 Prime comes as no surprise to Manoel Romero Jr., Sales Director of Ammann do Brasil. “The ACM 210 Prime was designed to provide high productivity for the standards of the ultra-mobile plant line,” he said. “We managed to combine this performance with the high mixing quality and reliability that Ammann has always prioritized throughout its history.”
