Hyundai Construction Equipment (HCE) presented the HW60A+, a new small-sized 6-ton wheel excavator. The machine is an upgraded model with enhanced stability to support various attachments and smoother handling.
The HW60A+ is equipped with an environmentally friendly Stage-V 3.3L engine. Compared to our competitors’ 2.4L engines, it provides stable power output and torque with 37% higher displacement under the same workload. With the high-performing engine, it is versatile for any task.
The increased counterweight supports the outstanding performance. As the attachments for 6-ton wheel excavators are getting heavier, HW60A+ includes a 330kg counterweight. 120kg heavier than its previous models, it enhances the work stability and allows to add useful attachments without worrying about their weight.
The cabin is applied with cutting-edge technologies which maximize the driver’s convenience. HW60A+ is equipped with an ergonomic RCV joystick. The joystick is a highly favoured feature in HCE’s medium and large-sized excavators, and it greatly improves the handling of the machine. The Hold Axle button on the joystick allows drivers to lock the axles without having to let go of the stick.
Taking the driver working at the same spot for a long time into account, the cabin is larger by 9.6% compared to previous models. The HW60A+ also adopts a breathable seat as default to provide a refreshing working environment even on the hottest worksites.
