Volvo Trucks South Africa announced its top-performing dealers, who excelled at supporting fleet customers during the uncertain times these past few years as part of a greater nationwide network.
The Mega Dealer of the Year award went to Volvo Truck & Bus Centre Gauteng, while independent dealer, Magnis Trucks Zululand walked away with top honours in the Medium Dealer of the Year category. Volvo Truck & Bus Beaufort West won the Small Dealer of the Year category.
The company has 19 dealers and service sites across the country, and Volvo Trucks is celebrating its 22nd year in South Africa in 2022. It has assembly facilities in Durban and currently has four extra heavy truck ranges available, namely the FH16, FH, FM and FMX.
According to the Naamsa (National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa), at the end of April 2022, Volvo Trucks secured a leading 21.3% market share in the extra heavy commercial vehicle segment within the combined South African and Southern African Customs Union markets for the year-to-date.
