Since John Deere’s announcement in March 2021 on the expansion of construction equipment into Sub-Saharan Africa, the company have added an additional 9 machines to their line-up of already 17 machines offered to the market. The new machine offers include the 310L backhoe, 744L wheel loader,750J-ll dozer, 316GR & 318G skid steer, and the 310E and 460E ADT.
The John Deere 310L backhoe runs a 63kw engine, 4 speed PowerShift Transmission, with a digging depth of 4.2m, loading height of 3.1m and a bucket capacity of 0.96cu.m. The 744L wheel loader, designed for mining and quarry customers, runs a 236kW engine, 3.8 to 5.25 cu.m bucket capacity range and an operating weight of 25.3 tons.
