AJI Rentals Adds Energy Storage System To Its Fleet For Middle East Construction Sites

AJI Rentals, a leading provider of heavy machinery and equipment solutions, announced that it has added the Enertainer – an advanced energy storage system for equipment such as tower cranes, hoists, welders, barbenders machines and more – to its extensive catalogue of construction rental offerings. This battery energy storage system (BESS) has been proven by its manufacturer to lower all-inclusive operating expenses by up to 75% while reducing carbon emission by up to 90%, with zero direct NOx, particulate matter, and SO2 emissions.

Governments in the GCC have been making clear advancements in enhancing the sustainability of their economies, with the UAE targeting 50% of its total energy mix generated from clean sources by 2050. AJI Rentals’ latest portfolio addition aligns with company’s strategic vision of being a leader in sustainable solutions for the construction sector.

The corporation now has 20% of its fleet that is electric, battery-operated, or hybrid, and 27% of its fleet-related investments for the year have gone toward non-diesel power generating options. The firm offers a variety of battery-operated and hybrid solutions, such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, small cranes, glass and material lifters, sweepers, and scrubbers.

The BESS solution has been proven in manufacturer testing to be nearly 32 times quieter than traditional alternatives. This reduces noise pollution in local communities and allows work to continue into noise sensitive hours.
