Ashok Leyland Launches The 2025 Model Partner Truck With Improvements

Ashok Leyland, renowned for its top-tier commercial vehicles, including buses and trucks, has recently launched the 2025 Model Partner Truck. Recognised for their reliability and cost-effectiveness, previous models have resonated well in the GCC market, with an impressive 4,000 trucks sold across the region.

The Ashok Leyland Partner Trucks feature a ZD30 Turbo inter-cooled Common Rail diesel engine with a 3000 CC, 4-cylinder configuration, delivering 140 hp of power while ensuring compliance with Euro 4 emission norms. This combination ensures competitive fuel efficiency and a smooth driving experience, making it an ideal choice for those seeking eco-friendly vehicles, as it helps reduce both fuel wastage and pollution. Their ergonomic cabs offer a comfortable environment, complemented by amenities such as air conditioning, adjustable power steering and a 3-point seat belt. The Partner Trucks are versatile enough to handle a diverse range of applications, prioritising both driver safety and comfort, and are popularly used by logistics companies, construction firms, SMEs and trading businesses.

Swaidan Trading, the official dealer of Ashok Leyland in the UAE since 1984, has been carefully recording customer feedback since 2019. This valuable input has inspired Ashok Leyland to implement further product improvements for the 2025 model, enhancing the overall user experience. Ashok Leyland has received encouraging feedback from initial customers on the new model.

Performance Upgrades and Aesthetic Enhancements

The 2025 model brings significant improvements aimed at enhancing reliability and efficiency. These enhancements include upgraded service brakes with a dual-booster system, an ABS brake system and an engine exhaust brake, providing stronger braking power, improved control and extended brake life with superior brake liners. Optimised brake pedal ratios ensure better control, while tubeless tires contribute to a smoother ride. Reinforced wheel discs are present, which increase load-bearing capacity, and an upgraded front axle with a locknut and splint pin arrangement enhances durability. Moreover, the addition of a new Fleetguard fuel filter ensures optimal fuel system performance.

Inside the cabin, the 2025 Partner Truck features an upgraded dashboard that enhances overall build quality. The steering column-mounted turn indicators improve operator accessibility, while a noise-free leaf spring system enhances driving comfort and reduces cabin noise.

Low Operating Costs

The 2025 model reaffirms its status as the most economical choice by minimising maintenance costs. The low engine and gearbox oil capacities reduce oil change expenses, and maintenance-free rear axle hub ends and propeller shafts eliminate the need for regular greasing, making the Partner Truck a cost-effective option for users.

The Partner Truck is backed by a comprehensive 5-year/400,000 km warranty on major aggregates, ensuring peace of mind for customers. Additionally, complementary free services covering the first year, up to 30,000 km, are being offered with the new model, providing added value and convenience. With Ashok Leyland’s extensive after-sales service network in the region, drivers can rely on prompt support and maintenance solutions, increasing the appeal of Ashok Leyland’s Partner Truck as a first choice in the GCC commercial vehicle market.
