Ritchie Bros.’ Online Auction Attracts Bidders From 79 Countries

Ritchie Bros. latest auction in December performed strong results in Dubai. Crawler tractors, wheel loaders, motor graders, articulated dump trucks, and vibratory rollers were among the top equipment items sold at Ritchie Bros. online auction held in Jebel Ali, UAE. With over 1,660+ pieces of equipment sold and 1,228 bidders participating from 79 countries, this auction edition received the highest number of registered bidders in the last 5 years for December auctions. The sale included an impressive line-up of hydraulic excavators from premium international brands such as Volvo, Komatsu, and Caterpillar.

The auction also featured a range of mobile cranes including all-terrain, rough terrain, and hydraulic truck cranes from premium brands such as Zoomlion, Liebherr, Kato, and Tadano, which attracted strong bidder interest from buyers around the world. An impressive range of unused or near-new inventory, including passenger vehicles such as high-quality Toyota Land Cruiser SUVs, utility vehicles, and minibuses, completed the auction lineup.

Most equipment in the Dubai auction was purchased by bidders from countries outside the UAE, including the USA, UK, The Netherlands, and Saudi Arabia. The next Ritchie Bros. Online Timed auction in Dubai will be held in March 2022.
