Comansa Presents The New LCH300 Model

Comansa has expanded its range of luffing jib cranes, with the new hydraulic LCH300 model , officially presented in Bauma. Through this new hydraulic model, tower crane manufacturer has optimised the luffing mechanism to offer even greater performance and efficient assembly, in addition to a reduction of the radius when out of service. It has a maximum load capacity of 16 tons and a reach of 60 metres.

The new LCH300/16t hydraulic luffing jib crane can be assembled with tower sections of 2.5 x 2.5m and is available in the following versions: embedded, supported on bases of 6 or 8 metres, or movable.

It has manual reeving changing of 1T (direct pulling) and 2T. The maximum load capacity is 8t with the 1T configuration and 16t with the 2T configuration. The maximum load at the jib end is 3,400 and 3,150kg, respectively. Thanks to the Effi-Plus technology, you can increase the speed of the lifting mechanism without affecting consumption, which allows for reduced load cycles and improved productivity of the crane.

Optimisation of space and transport

The modular jib of the new LCH300 has a reach of 25 to 60 metres, with configurations every five metres. The minimum working radius is 4 metres and the minimum radius when out of service is 9 metres. This is an important aspect to take into account in places with limited space, which are what luffing jib cranes are designed for.

The luffing of this novel luffing jib crane moves the jib and counter jib at the same time by means of a hydraulic cylinder at the cathead and jib hinge assembly. The hydraulic pump unit is located on a movable platform that can be transported in one piece. The cabin platform, which includes the award-winning Cube Cab (L or XL) with new Split-type air conditioning, can also be transported in one piece.

From the cabin there is direct visibility of the lifting mechanism with power from 50kW (standard) to 65kW (optional), which, as with the hydraulic unit and cabin platform, can also be transported in one piece.

Finally, the design of the rotating part (jib, cathead and counter jib), as well as that of the lifting mechanism, cabin and hydraulic unit platforms, optimises the transportation of this model, which can be supplied in 7 lorries or containers.
