HX-A Series is eco-friendly and high-efficiency. This series complies with the Stage V regulations in Europe. The entire models of the new ‘HX-A Series’ have been launched in Europe this time! HCE has released 14-ton crawler excavators into 3types. Among them, HX130A LCR was unveiled in Korea under the name of HX140ACR, and this has received good reviews from domestic customers.
New HX-A Series for Europe
HX130A LCR / HX140A L / HX145A LCR
HX130A LCR is a reduced-tail-swing excavator which is equipped with the Stage-V Cummins F3.8 engine. So it is ideal when working in confined areas, particularly in urban construction sites. The biggest feature of this model is that it doesn’t need urea dosing. In general, most heavy excavators over 14-ton require urea injection. However, HX130A LCR’s engine can optimize power for minimizing failure of the engine system. Easy access for maintenance means reducing operating costs. It adopts a longer-lasting filter. So service intervals have increased twice from 500hrs to 1000hrs when using CK-4 engine oil compared to previous models.
HX140A L (Korean model no. HX150A) also adopts Cummins F3.8 engine. Its high-performance engine (up to 134 HP) delivers better productivity and durability. It can endure heavy workloads. The new hydraulic system allows increased fuel economy and longer maintenance intervals. The new Stage V model with various functions, which contains lifting mode, IPC mode, OME (Owner Menu Editing), helps operators to achieve the highest productivity. In particular, the robust lower frame structure can endure the wetland and a wider track chain (width 900mm) are optional.
HX145A LCR (Korean model no. HX150ACR) is the third model of HX-A Series. Its Cummins F3.8 engine featuring an EGR-free design delivers 8% more power (134 HP). As the EGR is excluded, it doesn’t need cooling and recirculation of exhaust gas.
HX145A LCR is suitable for working in tight spaces such as urban construction sites and narrow roads as HX130A LCR does. HX145A LCR needs a urea solution, but it can endure heavy workloads with its high-performance engine. Additional lift power is available with a counterweight (3,300kg). It enables smooth operation for work efficiency. To deal with various customers’ needs, AAVM(Advanced Around View Monitoring) camera system option and lower frame option for working in forestry are added. This model also offers an optional fine swing control that smooths the boom movement.

1. Auto Safety Lock
Safety is the most important at construction sites. HX-A series has applied several safety functions. Auto Safety Lock prevents unintended operation or accident by the RCV lever. The excavator is not controlled when the safety lever is leased while the RCV lever is pressed.
2. IPC (Intelligent Power Control) mode & Lifting mode
HX-A Series offer an IPC mode and Lifting mode. IPC system can optimize the pump at various working conditions through individual pump control with 3 modes (Speed, Balance, Efficiency). Lifting mode improves fine control and lifts capability.
3. Hi Mate & ECD (Engine Connected Diagnostics)
HCE provides customers with the highest level of service and support available. Hi MATE is HCE’s remote management system. It allows convenient monitoring of equipment via a website or mobile app. It offers information such as fuel consumption, service alerts, real-time location.
ECD (Engine Connected Diagnostics) option provides a troubleshooting solution. It allows technicians and dealers to support customers with diagnostic reports. When the system immediately reports any engine failure, the service technicians can visit the site with proper tools or parts. Therefore, this option can reduce service time and minimize engine losses.
