EGYPT

Project: Data Centre
Value: USD 450,000,000
Client: INTRO Technology

INTRO Technology, the technology arm of INTRO Holding and parent company of Advansys and Forte Cloud, which specializes in technological solutions and digital transformation, announced the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oman Data Park, a data center and cloud service provider in Oman, to establish Kemet Data Centre in the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE).

The MoU marks the two companies first strategic partnership, with the goal of offering cloud solutions, Internet of Things (IoT), and digital transformation to regional and worldwide markets, notably in Africa and the Middle East. Kemet Data Center, which would cover more than 80,000 square meters, will be built in two parts in the SCZONE.

With Egypt’s strategic location and advanced infrastructure, the data centre will provide companies with a highly efficient and secure platform for their regional and international operations. Advansys will host the data centre’s specialized staff and experts to execute the project efficiently.


NIGERIA

Project: Railway Line
Value: USD 350,000,000
Client: Cross River State

The Cross River State Government, in collaboration with certain private investors, has begun work on a 365-kilometer railway, which is expected to cost $350m to complete. The railway line would connect the state’s southern and northern parts. The railway line will not only allow for convenient intra-state mobility but will also function as an evacuation route for products and services crossing international boundaries.

Cross River State borders Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, and Sao Tome and Principe and is home to Nigeria’s largest export processing zone, the Calabar Free Trade Zone (CFTZ).

Messers Reinhoke LLC and the state government are collaborating on the project, which is supported by a Public-Private Partnership (PPP).


UGANDA

Project: Cement Plant
Value: USD 200,000,000
Client: West International Holding

West International Holding has begun building of a $200m cement facility on 50 acres in Uganda’s Buikwe District. The facility is in Njeru municipality and is anticipated to be completed by August 2025. It will have 1800 employees and generate 4000t/day of cement.

This facility will serve markets in Central (Kampala and surrounding regions), Mwanza in Tanzania, and Mugingo in Kenya. To save the road from being worn down by loaded vehicles, the corporation will convey these products via the nearby railway. The project will also include a health center and a school for the neighborhood.


EGYPT

Project: Exploration Well
Value: USD 150,000,000
Client: Chevron Corporation

Chevron, the US energy giant, will begin drilling an exploration well in the deep waters of Egypt’s Mediterranean Sea in its Nargis concession region, with an estimated $150 million investment. Chevron has finished the essential geological investigations and research for the wells drilling and the drilling rig to manage the discovery procedure is anticipated to arrive in Fall 2024.

The Nargis-1 field spans 1,800 square kilometers in Egypt’s eastern Mediterranean, with recoverable reserves estimated at 2.5 trillion cubic feet of gas.

Chevron and Italy’s Eni subsidiary IEOC Production both own 45% of the Nargis concession, with Egypt’s Tharwa Petroleum Co owning the remaining 10%.


EGYPT

Project: Residence Project
Value: USD 123,000,000
Client: RAQ Development

RAQ Development launched the $123m Zawat Residence Project in 10th of Ramadan city. Zawat Residence will provide a variety of competitive advantages geared to meet the unique requirements and preferences of buyers across many categories. The project will be constructed in segments, with more than 40% of the first phase sold within six hours of its debut and reservation opening.

To develop the Zawat Residence, the business collaborated with leading consulting firms and renowned planner Maher Stino. Stino will give deep insights that help to
the professional and complete development of initiatives, assisting the organization in meeting its ambitious objectives.
