Addisbuild by The Big 5 Construct Ethiopia is to hold a construction exhibition at the Millennium Hall between May 18th – 20th 2023. Endorsed by the Ministry of Urban and Infrastructure, the exhibition will showcase the opportunities across Ethiopia’s construction sector, which currently contributes five percent towards Ethiopia’s workforce, according to the Central Statistics Agency (CSA).

Organized by dmg events and its local partner Ethel Events and Communication, part of The Big 5 global series of events, the three-day exhibition is to host local, and international attendees that are intent on taking part in Ethiopia’s growing construction sector. The goal of The Big 5 Construct Ethiopia is to accelerate construction industry innovations and complement Ethiopia’s economic growth, investment, and a sustainably built environment.

The exhibition aims to bring together the investment and infrastructure communities, promote innovation dialogue and develop new partnerships across the full construction value chain. Over 100 exhibitors from 15 countries including Italy, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia and 6,000 local buyers are expected to attend. Buyer profiles include contractors, project managers, engineers, architects, quality surveyors, distributors, and manufacturers.

For the first time in Ethiopia, the event is set to host free-to-attend Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certified talks, covering pressing topics such as Project Management, Technology and Sustainability in Construction.
