Third Edition Of Automechanika Riyadh To Return In 2022

Automechanika Riyadh, Saudi’s only trade fair for the automotive aftermarket and services industry, will run from 13-15 June 2022 at the Riyadh International Conference and Exhibition Centre (RICEC), the show’s organiser announced.

Automechanika Riyadh is organised by Saudi-based AlHarithy Company for Exhibitions (ACE) Group under licence from UAE-headquartered Messe Frankfurt Middle East, which organises Automechanika Dubai, the Middle East and Africa’s largest international trade show for the automotive aftermarket and services industry

Long-term prospects for Saudi’s auto aftermarket look good after a pandemic-affected 2020. According to Glasgow Consulting Group, a market intelligence firm, Saudi’s passenger vehicle components market will be worth nearly $5bn 2022, compared to an estimated $4.5bn in 2021.

Car owners also spent on average $314 per vehicle on parts in 2020 according to Frost & Sullivan, another consultancy. Despite the drop in value compared to pre-pandemic levels, Saudi remains the largest auto aftermarket in the GCC, with around 47 percent market share.
