Hitachi Construction Machinery Indonesia began producing medium-size hydraulic excavators at its first factory in 1993, with 222 units shipped in the first year. However, as demand in the Southeast Asian market grew, production steadily increased, and cumulative shipments now total 50,000 units.
In Southeast Asia, Hitachi Construction Machinery’s hydraulic excavators are highly rated for their durability and quality in sites that require heavy duty equipment for urban civil engineering, agriculture, forestry, and mining. Demand for high-quality products and services has increased in recent years, Hitachi Construction Machinery launched the ZAXIS-7G series of medium and large size hydraulic excavators as a new model in February 2024.
As one of the bases responsible for global product supply, Hitachi Construction Machinery Indonesia will continue to develop and produce products that meet customer needs, mainly in Southeast Asia and continuous expanding to other destination countries such as the Middle East, Africa and Europe.
