Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe will co-ordinate its distribution across the Paris / Ile-de-France region through the merger of two expert dealers in this sector – Interlocation and Hymat – who are joining forces to become HY Ile-de-France.

Headed up by the Hoyau brothers, Franck and Mickael, Interlocation is responsible for Hyundai’s activity in French departments 28, 45, 91, 78, 92 and 75, while Hymat, directed by Sébastien Guichard, covers departments 60, 77, 93, 94 and 95.

Strength in Unity.

Both companies have unparalleled knowledge of this area of France and a deep-rooted commitment to customer service, and so by joining together and pooling resources, Hymat and Interlocation will be able to provide customers with the very best expertise and support, significantly strengthening Hyundai’s offering in the region.

The next chapter.

“Interlocation has been around for many years and already has a high level of presence in the Paris region in the area of vehicle leasing, but we weren’t involved in the distribution side – we are now!”, emphasises Franck Hoyau, who alongside his brother Mickael, is Director of the family firm that boasts seven agencies across the Eure-et Loir and Loiret regions, with over sixty employees and a turnover of €14 million.

“We are also looking to establish ourselves with new premises in department 91 in order to build a presence and expand our services in the Essonne region. And we plan to take on about ten new staff for this new branch”, adds the Director.

“And, as new projects do not often come along in isolation, we have also been giving our first ever branch, in Châteaudun (28), a complete revamp: with a new showroom and a new workshop. You should come and see it for yourself”, adds Franck Hoyau. ;

“The key is to retain your existing customer base, to meet customer demand fully and to be at their side” – Sébastien Guichard, CEO Hymat.

“Interlocation has been around for many years, but we weren’t involved in the distribution side – we are now!” – Franck Hoyau, Director Interlocation.

New beginning, new opportunities.

This new partnership has required both companies to establish dedicated teams with the necessary resources to enhance and promote the Hyundai Construction Equipment brand in the Ile-de-France region. “This will also be achieved not only through the pooling of our technical and sales teams but also through the hiring of new technicians and salespeople. Customers will then have the support of twenty or so mobile technicians and benefit from new models in line with the Paris market, which is borne out by many machines having been ordered recently”, remarks Sébastien Guichard, CEO of Hymat. “The key is to retain your existing customer base, to meet customer demand fully and to be at their side”, he adds. Upcoming work on the Seine-Nord Canal, just a few dozen kilometres from Brasseuse, adjacent to the A1 motorway, where the Hymat company is located is expected to generate an increased demand for equipment in the region. With this new partnership in place, HY Ile-de-France and Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe are perfectly placed to capitalise.
