Faymonville and the Austrian company Prangl have been cooperating closely for years in the area of vehicle technology for special and heavy duty transport. The partners are now handling another future-oriented project: three new WingMAX flatbed trailers are now used for transporting XXL wind turbine blades.
Prangl regards itself as a full-range supplier when it comes to wind power assignments, because the company covers the entire range of services, from the transport of system components to the assembly of the wind turbines. The three new WingMAX flatbeds are now designated to transport rotor blades up to over 70 metres in length to the respective installation site with the familiar quality and sustainability.

“The enormous gooseneck stroke, the longest available loading platform with 4-fold extension and strong 19.5” pendle-axles are a profitable combination and a genuine plus for the wind power industry,” says Faymonville sales representative Mario Balter, putting the benefits of the WingMAX series in a nutshell. Technical equipment simplifies the handling of the long wind turbine blades. “A slideable load support for the blade tipping frame enables the flatbed to be shortened even under load. This refinement is a genuine help in passing through winding road sections with more ease. Following detailed instruction by a Faymonville expert, the Prangl team is ready for action.
