Three Aerial Platforms For Boom Logistics

Boom Logistics, an Australian company specialised in delivering lifting solutions and services across the country, has recently taken delivery of three new aerial platforms, two Bronto S56XR’s and a Bronto S70XR. The units are a great and welcome addition to their extensive fleet, further increasing the solutions they can offer to their customers. Boom Logistics has also ordered five more new Bronto units that are expected to be delivered in the Spring of 2022. These include three additional Bronto S56XR’s and two Bronto S70XRs.

“These units are a great addition to our sizeable Bronto fleet, and provide state of the art working at heights technology. The new XR models have numerous enhancements, including providing a more flexible working envelope.” – Bob Pfitzner, National Business Manager Travel Towers, Boom Logistics.

S56XR

The two delivered S56XRs are mounted on a Scania P 410 8×8 chassis and are loaded with various optional equipment such as radio controls for boom movements, a hydraulically extendable working cage with a 600 kg safe working load, a detachable winch in a cage with a 200 kg load capacity, a hydraulically driven generator mounted on the turntable and an emergency back-up system located on the decking.

S70XR

The delivered S70XR aerial platform is mounted on a Scania P 410 8×8 chassis and is equipped with multiple options, including radio remote controls for boom movements, a detachable winch in cage with a 400 kg load capacity, a hydraulically extendable working cage with 600 kg safe working load and a ± 220° cage slewing as well as a hydraulically driven generator mounted on the turntable.

All three delivered units as well as the five ordered ones are also equipped with a full control station at the turntable that allows safe and easy operation of the boom and working cage from the ground. The units are mounted on an Australian-compliant chassis, which allows Boom Logistics to achieve extra reach with the aerial platforms.

“We look forward to showcasing these new units to our customers, along with our continuing focus on safety and customer service.” – Bob Pfitzner, National Business Manager Travel Towers, Boom Logistics
