Sardar Automotive & Machinery, a TADANO Iraq distributor, recently organized seminars in Baghdad and Basra to promote products and services while improving client ties in Iraq. The dealer hosted the seminars to reintroduce Iraqi clients with Tadano’s cranes and service: the first was held on September 25 at the Toyota Iraq Conference Hall in Baghdad, and the second was held on October 24, at the Grand Millennium Al Seef in Basra.
“These events aimed to strengthen the bond with our esteemed customers, showcase Tadano’s cutting-edge technology, and foster a sense of trust and collaboration,” said Rawand Khalid, General Manager of Sardar Automotive & Machinery. “We attracted a remarkable turnout of Tadano customers and key stakeholders from the automotive industry & Government sectors in Iraq.”
Tadano recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Sardar Automotive & Machinery to bring back the firm’s mobile cranes to the expanding Iraqi market, and as a result, its cranes are now once again available in the country via Authorized Distribution.
The Memorandum of Understanding was inked in August 2023 and included the Sumitomo Corporation as well.
“Tadano’s products are recognized for several advantages that make them popular choices in the construction, infrastructure, oil & gas field, and logistics industries,” said Khalid. “A wide range of Tadano products are available to cater to the needs of the Iraqi market, namely Truck Cranes with load ranges of 30T to 75T, Rough Terrain Cranes offering 30T to 145T, Aerial Work Platforms offering bucket heights of 7.2m to 19.7m, and Cargo Cranes with load ranges of 3T to 10T.”
