Arabian Machinery & Heavy Equipment Company (AMHEC) signed a deal for 100 GR-800EX cranes, marking one of Tadano’s largest orders in its 105-year history.
With the acquisition of 100 additional GR-800EX units, AMHEC will be able to deploy new cranes around Saudi Arabia to meet their clients’ substantial rigging operations and movements, particularly at drilling rigs.
AMHEC, founded in 2007, is situated in Khobar and is a significant provider of crane rentals, heavy lifting, transportation, and rig relocation services throughout the kingdom. Their crane fleet surpasses 400 units.
Tadano and AMHEC executives, together with Saleh Abdulaziz Abahsain Co., Ltd., Saudi Arabia’s Tadano Japan distributor for over 40 years, attended the handover ceremony at the Shido Plant in Kagawa, Japan, where most of Tadano’s rough terrain cranes are built.
