Yuksel Saudia, a renowned company in the Saudi construction sector, recently celebrated 40 years of successful collaboration with Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE).
Yuksel Saudia’s current fleet of 2,000 equipment units includes 45 wheeled excavators, 35 of which are Volvo models. Yuksel has relied on the dependability and performance of Volvo equipment to satisfy the rigorous requirements of its city center infrastructure projects throughout Saudi Arabia.
Yuksel Saudia has worked with Volvo for over 40 years due to the brand’s reputation for durability and solid support. This enduring relationship has seen Yuksel expand its Volvo fleet significantly, including the delivery of 35 EW205D wheeled excavators, a highly efficient and durable machine in the 19.8–21.8 t weight category, between 2014 and 2024.
The EW205D wheeled excavators have become a cornerstone of Yuksel’s operations, specifically chosen for their long engine life and suitability for urban infrastructure projects. The excavators are currently deployed for various tasks, including excavation, backfilling, and lifting, with 70% of them dedicated to infrastructure projects.
FAMCO, Volvo’s local distributor in the Middle East, has provided service assistance for the EW205D excavators, as well as innovative Volvo technologies ActiveCare and CareTrack, which Yuksel uses to control equipment uptime and efficiency.
