Zahid Tractor recently marked a significant milestone, celebrating its 75th anniversary as the official Caterpillar dealer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In celebration of this milestone, Zahid Tractor hosted a gala dinner at its flagship brand in Jeddah. The event, which took place on 4 February 2025, was an opportunity for Zahid Tractor and Caterpillar Executives to come together with key clients from across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
As Caterpillar is marking its 100th anniversary in 2025, the event featured an impressive display of Caterpillar’s renowned heavy equipment, including the CAT 773 off-highway truck, CAT D8 bulldozer, and CAT 320 excavator, among others. The 100-anniversary edition of the CAT D8, which is in the original grey color used on CAT machines in 1925, was unveiled globally at the event.
Caterpillar first visited Saudi Arabia in 1950, forging a relationship with the Zahid family that has since evolved into one of the world’s largest and most respected Caterpillar dealerships. Today, Zahid Tractor’s Construction Machinery Division continues to provide cutting-edge, fully integrated solutions to meet the needs of its demanding clientele.
