JCB has been manufacturing backhoe loaders for over 70 years now and even after seven decades, the backhoe remains one of the world’s most popular pieces of construction equipment. This really is testament to the versatility of the machine that its popularity has continued to endure.
The new range of 3DX Sitemaster machines boast brand-new features and improvements with simplified specifications packaged together to have strong attributes targeting specific customer needs and sectors within the market. There are three new models in this range: the 3DX ECO, 3DX PLUS and 3DX PRO.
The 3DX ECO features a high performing 56kW engine and is the ideal site machine, whereas the 3DX PLUS and 3DX PRO have powerful 68.6kW engines. The 3DX PLUS and 3DX PRO are offered with a multi-purpose (6-in-1) bucket and hammer lines as standard.
The new models have significantly more features, comfort and technology to make them easier than ever to operate. They have been designed keeping in mind the versatility of the excavator loaders (backhoe loader) at heart. The 3DX Sitemaster machines have the ability to load, dig, backfill, grade, grab, break, excavate and travel between sites quickly, allowing the operator to be a ‘master of the site’.
Sitemaster of Power:
- The 3DX ECO has a high performing 4.8L 56kW engine, while the 3DX PLUS and PRO have powerful 4.4L 68.6kW engines with optimal torque.
- The 3DX PRO features EasyShift, a new 4-speed transmission along with a kick down, delivering extra power when loading.
- The 6-in-1 shovel has a hydraulically operated clam, making it a multi-purpose tool that can doze, load, grab, grade, dig and backfill.
Sitemaster of Efficiency:
- The JCB DieselMAX engine has class-leading torque for improved loading and roading performance, whilst delivering greater fuel efficiency and reduced service costs.
- The 3DX PRO features a high flow variable displacement piston pump for fast digging cycles, with flow on demand to further reduce fuel consumption.
- Auto Stop and Auto Idle on the 3DX PRO save on unnecessary wear and tear and help to use less fuel.
Sitemaster of Comfort:
- The cabs on the 3DX range is large, easy to access, with plenty of room in every operating position.
- The 3DX PRO has Smooth Ride System (SRS) to enhance comfort during load and carry operation and improves load retention.
- The EasyShift transmission on the 3DX PRO features an electric, column mounted switch, for effortless gear changing.
Sitemaster of Control:
- The 3DX Pro has servo controls as standard, with finger-tip control for reduced operator fatigue.
- The joystick controls to operate the excavator helps an easier transition for excavator operators to switch to this machine.
