China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) revealed that it has started working at the modular building factory for the Sedra housing project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which is being developed by Roshn, a PIF firm.
In addition to providing prefabricated parts for the totally modular homes in the Sedra project, the 200,000 square meter facility will provide the industrial framework for next prefabricated construction projects in Saudi Arabia.
A fully digitalized process encompassing design, manufacturing, and storage is made possible by the factory’s sophisticated robots and separately built production management system.
